The department of pathology is a bridge between the clinical & basic sciences it helps the clinician in diagnosis and prognosis of a disease by using laboratory methods. It also has a scope of research in disease process by applying various laboratory techniques & instruments.

Pathology is taught to the BHMS students in the second year of the curriculum. This subject is a bridge between the basic medical sciences and the clinical branches. The Pathology Department also caters to the laboratory investigations for the patients of the hospital.
